Dad's Comment

Dad's Comment on  "JJ's 30 Days in England - A Diary of a 10 Year-Old Cat"

JJ's Birthday in 2004

My son,

After I have finished reading your Diary, I can honestly tell you that your work is WONDERFUL to me! It's marvellous! Great! I'm really PROUD of you.

Let me tell you ... when I was at your age I knew nothing at all about English language - I was complete ignorant. Your English skill is far more than I can imagine - again I'm very PROUD of you.

However, there could be some areas that you may improve your writing skill to an even better level, but DON'T YOU WORRY JUST YET! JUST KEEP ON WRITING!

One LESSON, though, you may learn after you finished writing this diary is that you just started writing it last September - 3 whole months after you returned from UK! That was tooooooo long and some memories started to be blur! Just go through your own writing and you'd see that you said yourself that you 'could not remember' in some part or most of the activites done on those days.

The fact is that there are 2 THINGS that come into our head - one is to be REMEMBERED and the other is to be FORGOTTEN!

And TIME is also playing a good part in this process; so write things down when they are still FRESH in your head.

Like I said earlier, don't worry just yet. You still have a long way to go and everything will be improving olong the way you're heading to.

I hope you enjoy writing.

Love you my son,
Dad - 15/10/2012

PS - Please be reminded that I'm waiting to read your "JJ's 3 Weeks in New Zealand - A Diary of a Wimpy Gato!"
